My best painting ever if I do say so myself! Where to begin? First off, the bottom tire isn't bent, I just suck at photography and took the picture at a weird angle as this board is huge and won't fit into my scanner. This painting is completely original, no references and done on a purposefully textured board. It is a picture telling the story of a gang leader who wasn't the best person in life and tried to kill someone who stole his girlfriend and killed most of his gang, however he died and was sent to Hell which is the background (which I now wish was a bit more detailed). While there he thought of what he had done and decided to repent by saving her from his equally evil foe. He escapes by stealing a motorcycle in his monstrous bat-like form and jumps through a portal (the big white thing people keep asking me about) while on that sucky plateau below him some people watch. He get's back and I don't want to spoil the ending as I hope to make a story/manga about it someday. The first idea for this came a while ago when I discovered my now-favourite song by Meatloaf and Jim Steinman: "Bat Out Of Hell". This is what I pictured during it. Creative no? (Also inspired somewhat by the movie "Akira") So ya, he's the Bat Outta Hell (as the original title is copyrighted I changed the middle part, hopefully I won't get sued!) I also have ideas for other parts of the story based on more Meat Loaf songs but those may come later. Hope you like!
